Lumen Colored Pencils are meant to serve the artist in both functionality and creative inspiration. The packaging encourages creativity and inspiration through the stained glass panelling that lines the outside of the interior box, while also serving a method of functionality with the easy roll out access. These luxurious high quality art supplies are for artists that are serious about their work and the quality of the materials they use to make it. Lumen is passionate towards making products worthy of art that is made to last and meant to be admired. The packaging design is designed to reflect that mindset in its look, feel, and functionality.

The Process
The construction of the package required constructing similar dielines to then sketch out and plan the specific dieline. The stained glass panels were cut out of colored vellum sheets and attached to thick silver reflective paper to mimic real stained glass windows.
